“The Muzzled Horse Of An Engineer In Search Of Mechanical Saddles” lays out the psychoscape of an employee recently laid off from work, whose unexplained fixation on horses jumpstarts a four-part narrative fraught with anxiety and a surreal sense of mission: subduing his intangible horses by ironically setting them loose. The film horses around with the many significations horses as cultural signifiers have come to accumulate, especially in the Philippines, whether as monster or icon of virility.
